Pre-order terms

What you're ordering

• A Possum key, a slim aluminum USB-C key with a switch and a tiny screen, at the price shown when you order, with free shipping to US addresses. The Possum app for Mac is included.
• Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
• The pictures on this site are renders and illustrations. The key's final size and finish are set before it ships and may differ from them.

When you're charged

• You pay in full when you pre-order, at the price shown, and we email your order confirmation.
• If the price drops before your key ships, we refund the difference.

Shipping

• The first batch is estimated to ship in early December, after the key's FCC authorization, to US addresses only.
• If that date slips, we'll email you the new date before the old one passes, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Cancelling and refunds

• Cancel anytime before your key ships, for any reason, for a full refund. Reply to any email from us, or write to hello@trypossum.com. We send the refund within 7 working days.
• If we call off the launch, or the key doesn't get its FCC authorization, we refund every pre-order in full without being asked.
• Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with. Your bank may take several business days to show it.

Returns

Not for you? Return your key within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Email hello@trypossum.com first, and we'll tell you where to send it. You pay the postage to send it back.

Payment

Checkout runs on Shopify, which takes the payment and collects your shipping address. We never see or store your card number. See our privacy page for what we keep.

FCC notice

FCC notice: the Possum key is offered for pre-order only. Delivery to the end user is conditional upon successful completion of the applicable FCC equipment authorization process (an emissions test and a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity). The FCC's rules do not address consumer protection, contractual, or other federal or state law provisions. If authorization isn't completed, we refund every pre-order in full.

Questions? Email hello@trypossum.com. If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. A change never takes away a refund you're owed, or applies to an order you've already placed.
